FanVixens in: Bizarro Au Go-Go Invades San Diego Comic Con 2011! Days 1 and 2

We had a blast at comic con this year, as we always do. This was the 5th year that Ink Pen Mutations Press had a booth at San Diego Comic Con and we did not want to disappoint. We had crazier costumes, lots of fun swag bags, and FanVixens in: Bizarro Au Go-Go made it's public debut. It was a lot of work, but so much fun. We are all still recuperating, but here are some photos of Bizarro Au Go-Go and the Ink Pen Mutations crew rabble rousing  at the San Diego Comic Con.

SDCC Day 3 Maidbot 5000, French Maid, and Skid Ronin hit the scene.

Maidbot 5000, French Maid Laya Bella, and Skid Ronin hit the scene. Maidbot 5000 declares that the inefficient nature of humans deems them expendable and futile. Fights break out, hair gets pulled... the cameras keep rolling. (click photos to enlarge)

 Maidbot 5000 tells the crowds to "suck it." Who would program such lewd behavior? Duggouts' Inc. claims the malfunction is the first they've heard of...but what about the French Maid Massacre? The Duggouts' spokesperson had no comment.

Long Beach Comic and Horror Convention 2011 Photos

The Bizarro Au Go-Go team had a blast at this year's Long Beach Comic and Horror Convention. We met lots of awesome people, saw plenty of cool costumes, and pretty much had an all around blast. We definitely plan on getting a booth next year.

Skid Ronin- Behind the Scenes

No home, no master, NO MERCY! Skid Ronin is a homeless samurai, based in the Bizarro Au Go-Go world, who goes crazy when a multicultural cadre of thugs decimate his master (a stuffed dragon). Shooting the Skid Ronin trailer was a blast... a literal blast of blood square in the face for our good friend actor/artist, Johnnie Saiko (Monster Man, The Guyver, Kungfu Rascals), who captures the main character brilliantly in this gritty film adaptation of what was originally a funny fake movie poster in the Bizarro Au Go-Go book.

We couldn't be happier with the cast and crew who helped bring this project together. Here are some behind the scenes images along with some screenshots of the actual video footage of the Skid Ronin trailer. Stayed tuned for the actual video that we will be posting soon.

Thor. I like his family dynamic. His brother is not blood but they were raised as family and that's all that matters to him. His honor to his people, he was willing to risk never seeing Jane(the human girl he fell in love with) again to protect his people and his family. I also respect that he truly did earn his place on his throne.

We've got friends in far out places and they're all going to be there. Come rub elbows with the good, bad, and ugly from around the universe! Just make sure you bring a towel.

The Signing starts at 7pm and goes until 10pm if there is a good amount of people still there then it will probably run later.

Want to show up looking the part? We're encouraging everyone to dress up as Bizarre and wacky as possible. We're always looking to meet new freaks and monsters. While it's not mandatory we're offering prizes to the weirdest of the weird, So have fun with it!
